He's one of those stubborn awesome characters that always has an awesome weapon. He rox and he has a pretty sad past though...
Sad past can also equal main characters... Kanda should seriously be one.

I think this is gorgeous. And Kanda is definitely my favourite character too. Only I watch the anime and I've been a little put out cause Kanda hasn't been around in a while. This picture does cheer me up though.

I like Kanda because he understand (unlike others) there is a war going on and exorcists are losing it. So he behaves like soldier. I like his line ‘We are destroyers not saviors’. There is a war not some ghost-hunter business! That’s why Kanda dislike others – because they still don’t understand it.

And I love he is antisocial, withdrawn and with sharp tongue. That makes him real person (while Allen, Lavi and Linali are typical anime characters).
